Base oil is defined as “the upper end of the specifications for Grade I base oils” which has undergone solvent refining processes. API defines group I as "base stocks contain less than 90 percent saturates and/or greater than 0.03 percent sulfur and have a viscosity index greater than or equal to 80 and less than 120". It is used in lubricant industries mostly. Also, engine oils, gear oils, transformer oils, Hydraulic oils, metal working fluids & additives are other usages of base oil.

Base Oil SN500 is base oil categorized in group I is the common quality base oil product of Iran Base Oil which use in different applications in the industry. Base oil SN500 base stocks contain less than 90 percent saturates. And/or greater than .03 percent sulfur and have viscosity index greater than or equal to 80 and less than 120.

Base oil packed in new or used 180 kg drums ,iso tank ,flexi tanks and bulk shipments. Each 20 foot container takes 80 drum .
